Last week Alice Schumaker introduced us to new member Bob Bosco.  Bob is an Associate Professor Emeritus at Creighton University. He has taught painting, drawing, and color theory there since 1976.

An award-winning artist, Bob has participated in seventy (70) exhibitions nationally and regionally. He has collaborated with choreographers, dancers and musicians in several public art venues and spent summers in personal artistic production in Florence, Italy and Canada.

Research for his latest artistic mission has taken him to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Omega Wellness Center, and Esalen Institute.
This ten year project resulted in:
- a series of forty-eight (48) paintings on yoga
- a recent one person exhibit at the 1516 Gallery in Omaha’s Old Market
- as well as a book entitled ‘A Painter’s Yoga Journey’, available on Amazon.

All proceeds are dedicated to the education and feeding of children in refugee camps throughout the world, through ‘Adopt A Future’.

Besides being an artist and a yogi, Bob also pursues:  creative writing, piano, hand drums, singing, kayaking and book groups.  Welcome, Bob!
