Hello All My Suburban Rotarian Friends,
What a wonderful Changing of the Guard event we had at Werner Park! So many members worked to make this meeting fun, memorable and safe. Thank you, All. For those not able to join us, we miss you and understand your need to be careful. Every effort will be made to keep our in-person/Zoom meetings inclusive and interactive.

We have a great year ahead! While there are challenges, our club is up to the task. Several new initiatives will begins during the next few weeks. Marlon will be introducing a new game to replace Split the Pot on Zoom. Special surprise guests will be dropping by to say hello at our meetings. There will be a new Word Search game in the Scuttlebutt. And there are more! Read about them in future Scuttlebutts and Zoom into meetings to take part.
Mostly, our thanks to Tom, Joe, Dan, and Jennifer for leading us through a difficult year with style and grace.

Last week we had a special recognition for David Gerard who has been playing for Suburban Rotary for 40 years this past March. We are lucky to have his dedicated service and President Tom Kerfoot recognized him with a special plaque for his "Service Above Self"
Last week at Werner Park, Connor Lund, Yearlings Chair, recognized Danielle Clear as Yearling of the Year. Danielle has been a non-stop volunteer since she joined our club and will be heading up the new Inclusion Committee this year. Congratulations Danielle!

President Mary Bernier has made this an initiative for the 20-21 Rotary year and Danielle Clear is Chairing the committee for our club. We already have two District Grants approved for this effort.
