Last week we had an excellent turnout for Staff Day and many guests. Roxy Orr and Angie Bingham were our Greeters and Judy Cline gave our invocation. Curt Peters recognized our Trustees and investment committee members as "Gifts to the World" for their service to the club.

The program was a lip-sync battle between Jared and the 4-Way Testers and Taylor and the Swifters. The trophy went to the Swifters once the "real" Taylor Swift (who resembled President Curt Peters in a wig) showed up and won the day.

Welcome Daniel Christensen!

Last week Tom Vann introduced us to new member Daniel Christensen. Dan is the Vice President at MMC Contractors. Dan is a lifelong Nebraska resident and graduated from Bennington High School Dan is married to Shelly and they have two teenage children who are very busy with various activities.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys Husker football, golfing, and sportscar trips with his wife.

Volleyball tournament for Scholarships

The 5th Annual Baxter-Kenworthy volleyball tournament will be held on July 23rd. We are looking to form a committee of people to help with this event as it has grown substantially over the past few years.

We are very fortunate to have all of the proceeds from this event go to our scholarship program. Please let Jennifer know if you are willing to help.

Congratulations to Brian and Katherine Mueller! Baby Stella Hope Mueller was born on April 13th. Their address is 7966 Morris St., Omaha, NE 68122.

Former long-time member and Past President (79-80) Carl Nussrallah passed away last week. Visitation is tonight at Mary Our Queen from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass is tomorrow at 10am at Mary Our Queen. Memorials to Mary Our Queen school. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
