Last week Suzi Brehmer and Angeline Larson served as Greeters. Rebecca Vinton gave the invocation. We had several announcements and presentations . Bob Mundy introduced Kim Carne and Tracy Stanko who talked about the proposal for carbon tax dividends. The RISK bag was at $577 and Ron Pearson and Dave Laferla each won free lunches. Only 2 weeks left to pick a winner!
Last week Holly Hollenbeck introduced us to new member Michael McCormick. Michael grew up and still lives in the Keystone area of Omaha. He graduated from Skutt Catholic High School, later Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. He is married to Kirsten, owner of Omaha’s Hair Choice salon and they have two kids, Lucia and Lee. The toddlers support the chaos from the two German Shorthaired Pointers, Monkey and Hank. Michael is a Project Manager for AOI Corporation, a homegrown commercial general contractor providing integrated services including systems furniture, architectural products and modular interior solutions. He enjoys the outdoors, music and is passionate about economic and environmental sustainability. Welcome, Michael!

We need your help for our next two activities:
Saturday, June 8th 930 Cemetery Clean-Up
Saturday, June 15th 730-1030 Highway Clean-Up
Want to enjoy the great outdoors and enjoy being above ground? Then come to the next Adopt A Plot yard waste clean up at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 3202 Parker Street, where our club has made a commitment to return every three weeks to tidy up a visible section of the oldest cemetery in Omaha. Our next time to get 'er done is Saturday, June 8th, at 9:30 a.m. We rake, sweep, weed whack, pick up sticks and litter and make the grounds look respectable. Cookies and blisters galore! Future Saturday Adopt A Plot clean up days include: 6/29, 7/27, 8/17 and 9/14. Contact Ward Peters and join in on the fun!
