Last week was the first of the new-format Yearlings meeting. Thank you to those who participated. If you have a red badge, please mark your calendar to attend one of the upcoming Orientation Sessions.
Thank you to Mike Gerst for hosting a fun After Hours last week! Please contact Dan Hosford if you are interested in hosting an event this Rotary year.
The Omaha Storm Chasers and the Rotary District 5650 Veterans Fellowship group are teaming up to raise money on Military Appreciation Night for our Annual District-Wide ballgame! $6 from each ticket purchased will go to our designated beneficiary, Operation 22 Til Freedom (https://operation22tilfreedom.com/)!. They raise funds to help veterans in need and to lower veteran suicide. Money raised will help veterans all over the metro area!
Please plan on coming a bit early that night to join us in our private tailgating area in front of the stadium and to watch District Governor Barbara Bartle throw out one of the ceremonial first pitches!
Please contact fellow Rotarian / Omaha Storm Chasers staff member Zach Ziler at (402) 738-5137 or zachz@omahastormchasers.com if you have any additional questions.
