WELCOME ROGER UTMAN!
Last week Jim Conway introduced us to new member Roger Utman. Roger served the Iowa Department of Education in Des Moines as a Consultant, Bureau Chief, and Administrator, Division of Community Colleges before his retirement in 2012. The Division and State Agency works with the 15 Community Colleges of Iowa. Before joining the Department, he worked for 21 years at Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs) in a variety of capacities, last serving as Dean Student Support Services.
Roger is currently under contract with AGB Search, Washington, D.C. to serve as an interim administrator for colleges or state college system offices. Roger and his wife, Nancy, have two adult children and a granddaughter. Welcome, Roger!
