Last week Aaron Martens and Jennifer Katz served as Greeters. Jared Bakewell gave the invocation. David Gerard and Karl Schaphorst led us in the national anthem with the piano and trumpet. We had several announcements and presentations. New Secretary "Kevin Welsh" handed out fines and money liberally. Curt Peters showed photos and video from his trip to the Rotary International Convention in Sao Paulo, Brazil and talked about Rotary goals for the new year. The RISK bag was at $123 and Frank McGree won a free lunch and the first draw next week.
to Steve Riekes, Zoe Baumel, and Carter Jones who were all presented with Friends of Suburban Rotary plaques by Frank McGree for their donations of $2500 to our local Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation. The local foundation supports our scholarship program as well as many other projects. Thank you all!
Roxy Orr presented Curt Peters with his President pin and badge. Curt then presented Roxy with her Past President pin, badge and plaque. Roxy also recognized outgoing Board member Edna Brooks-Pittman and Curt Peters recognized incoming President-Elect Kathryn Schubert and Sgt. at Arms Tom Kerfoot.

Volleyball Tournament Fundraiser
100% of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Suburban Rotary Club’s Charitable Foundation to provide post graduate scholarships for high school seniors with special needs.
