Meeting re-cap 3/23
Last week Christopher Pfanenstiel and Sabrina Jones served as our greeters. Alan Stanek  gave our invocation.   Kevin Welsh filled in as Secretary and introduced our guests and recognized birthdays and "brag for bucks".  We had several announcements and presentations.   Tom Kerfoot kicked off our fundraising campaign for our local Suburban Rotary Foundation which supports our scholarships and a variety of other projects. Chairperson of the Trustees, Roxy Orr, talked about the history of the Foundation and the make-up of the Board of Trustees.  The RISK bag was at $1061 and Roger Groff won a free lunch.

Last week Foundation Chairperson Roxy Orr recognized Nate Christ and Penny McWilliams with Charlene Tierney Citations for their cumulative donations of $1000 to the local Suburban Rotary Charitable Foundation.   (Charlene was the Executive Director of the club for nearly 40 years).

Thank you both for your generosity!

Local Foundation 2017 Fundraiser
Thank you to all those who have already pledged or given to this year's Fundraiser.  The funds raised go to build our local Foundation for scholarships and other projects that our club does.   Our goal this year is 44K.  We will recognize all those who donate or pledge $300 or more as members of this year's Presidents' Scholarship Circle.  You can give at a meeting or online at our secure portal by clicking here.  We recognized many early givers last week.
