Meeting re-cap 9/21/17
Last week Tom Kerfoot and Deanna Fuller served as our Greeters. Holly Hollenbeck gave our invocation. We had several presentations and announcements.  Mary Bernier introduced Joanna O'Keefe who talked about her process and read some poetry to us. We also watched a video of her poem that was made into a song.  The RISK bag was at $305 and Jack Hosking won a free lunch.

For Rotarians who are interested, you can see Joanna's talk and video at the links below. Her books are available at the Bookworm.

Cemetery Clean-Up
Looking for an outdoor and fun attendance credit volunteer opportunity?  Join fellow Rotarians on Saturday, September 30th from 10 a.m.-noon, at Prospect Hill Cemetery's Adopt A Plot project, 3202 Parker Street.  We pick up sticks, litter, edge and sweep curbs, weed whack along a fence line and around trees and tidy up the oldest cemetery in Omaha.  Call Ward Peters at 402-551-6121 to reserve you spot on the crew.  ;-)  A great fellowship experience.
